For EnergyVue aluminum, the roller assembly and screen track are series-specific; the 5400 series uses a 1-1/4″ diameter roller that PGT no longer stocks as an individual part, so we source an equivalent from our verified aftermarket line or replace the full operating panel.

Signs Your PGT Window Replacement Is Failing

• Sash drops or won’t stay open. The coil balance or block-and-tackle assembly has lost tension. In Hollywood’s salt-air environment, we’ve seen balances corrode inside the jamb cavity in as little as seven years, especially on east-facing windows that catch morning spray off the Atlantic.
