Signs Your Mr-Glass Door Installation Is Failing

• The lock thumb-turn spins without resistance. The multipoint gearbox has stripped its internal cam, usually from forcing the handle when the door is out of plumb. On Mr-Glass units, this happens after three to five years of frame settlement in South Florida’s sandy soils.
• Rolling resistance that gets worse after rain. The stainless steel rollers have flat-spotted or the axle bushings have worn oval. Hollywood’s salt air accelerates this on beach-adjacent installations, even with 316-grade hardware.
